La UMSS a través del Centro de Estudios de Población (CEP), ofrece estadísticas sobre la oferta inmobiliaria según la evolución histórica y el tipo de inmueble, también sobre el déficit habitacional cuantitativo y cualitativo en el AMC. Los resultados son de utilidad para la regulación de precios de oferta por parte de Estado. La principal ventaja es que los datos se encuentran georreferenciados en una imagen satelital. Para su aplicación en la planificación urbana, se requiere el apoyo de las Alcaldías y del Viceministerio de Vivienda y Urbanismo.

The UMSS through the Population Studies Center (CEP), offers statistics on the real estate offer according to the historical evolution and the type of property, also on the quantitative and qualitative housing deficit in the AMC. The results are useful for the regulation of supply prices by the State. The main advantage is that the data is georeferenced in a satellite image. For its application in urban planning, the support of the City Halls and the Vice Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is required.
